Saw this Wallaby at You Yangs Regional Reserve today. The distinctive granite peaks of the You Yangs rise from the flat volcanic plains between Melbourne and Geelong. This guy wasn't fazed at all when I nudged closer and closer for some shots, took it all in his/her stride.
Great to see such a good shot of a wallaby - they seem to be the forgotten cousins - I remember how clumsy and noisy they were crashing about in the Australian bush compared to the sleek fast moving roos of the grasslands.
