I went for a drive today around an old industrial area of Geelong. There was a lot of street art on the outside of an abandoned old mill.
I don't know whether her forehead and hair was done when the windows were intact or not.
I thought this was so well done, I think it looks a bit like Jennifer Lopez, what do you think? It looks good large if you have time.
The problem with photographing street art is you are capturing someone else art. We have all done this! You need to make it your own, by including other elements of the surrounding area or include people walking in or out of the shot. Hope you don't mind the critique?
@marshwader no I don't mind, this is my first attempt, the place where it is was closed behind fencing and the gate was closed at the time. But I know what you mean, thanks for that, I will remember that next time. 😊
Sounds like we're almost neighbours in 365 terms Diane, I live in Belmont. Haven't been to the Powerhouse for some months now, must go back and check out the new pieces.
@golftragic hi Marnie, yes we are close, I had some time to kill and drove around the back of the Powerhouse. I don't know of too many of us from the Geelong area. I look forward to following your project.
Great piece of street art and well captured, we are coming to Geelong for a week in May, will keep an eye out for the street art.
