How do you like my doo?

Sulphur Crested Cockatoos are very loud and can be destructive, we often find lots of debris along our driveway where they have stripped the young branches from our lemon scented gums. They are a large bird and live a very long time.
I have always thought the crest on their head quite unusual. So hence the title.

Hope you have a great day/night wherever you may be:)
very awesome due! lol love it

Terrific lighting and great against the blue sky. That is quite an interesting "head piece" they sport.

Fav. Brilliant capture of this beautiful bird. I could be mistaken, but my brother's son in law had one of these - in captivity - and it was so noisy that he had to give it away.

Haha they are terribly destructive! We have one living in a tree outside our house and although my family is now immune to the sound, whenever we have people over they cringe because of the screeching! Great shot. I love the dark background! FAV!

Nature's vandals in my book, not a fan of cockies. There are currently hundreds along the Barwon near here, probably come down from some of the even drier parts of the state. Great shot nevertheless, you can just about see what this bird is thinking. 'What shall I destroy next?'
