Today I traveled to Boston to watch my daughters' high school jazz ensemble compete in the Berkelee Jazz Festival. They competed in the large ensemble class: L6 division (its based on school size). They came in 4th place out of 15 other schools from different states including Maine, Massachusettes, New Jersey, Vermont (and more!) Here is a picture of her playing her baritone saxophone. It was not a great setting to get pictures other than closeups. It was a fun day and the ensemble did a great job playing Summertime, Old Man River, and Modesty Blues!
I bet that was great to hear all those competing bands. What a super close-up shot of your daughter with really nice lighting on her. Do congratulate your daughter - they did fantastic to place that high.
