WWII towers built to protect Portland Harbor from submarines. When I was a kid we could climb these and look out...such a cool view. Long since closed to the public, but still in one of the four state/local parks in my town. Blessed to live where I do!
I am posting a picture tonight of one of two lights I took Wednesday. We were practically ships passing in the night I mean that literally as I took my picture same day at 3:27 pm on the same day you were taking this. Wow, we almost met.
