All of my girls are finally home for the christmas holiday! We decorated our tree tonight. This ornament was my great grandmothers. I think I have put it on the tree every year since I was a little girl. I can remember as a young child searching thru all of the ornaments to find this one so I could be the one to put it on the tree! I still keep a sharp eye out to make sure I place it on the tree. Not sure why I love it so! I just do. Merry Christmas!
I have a special one passed on down from my grandmother (which makes it over 100 years old at least) and hold my breath each year when I unpack ornaments in hopes that it survived the storage another year. Like the way you've shown this off. Now if we could just get some snow to feel like Christmas!
