An absolutely gorgeous day here in Maine! Summer doesn't get any better for me than the weather we have had the past week! I liked the softness of this shot. It's all in camera. The only processing I did was to add the green color to the right side...how did I do? Did you notice? I have really improved my photoshop skills this year.
Lovely soft colours. I wish I could get soft colours like this, but I don't know how to do it.
Now, I wouldn't have noticed the green until you mentioned it because it looks great. Then because I was looking more carefully than normal, I noticed a patch of grey near the stem on the right that hasn't been coloured in. It might be intentionally grey, I'm not sure. I hope you don't mind me saying, you did ask:) It's happened to me before.
@emma78 No I totally wanted to know if people could tell. I saw that spot too and I'm not sure what happened there as it was included with the rest of the background. thanks for letting me know that you really needed to look for it!
I didn't notice the gray, but I was wondering about the green line on the right that is a different shade of green. It goes straight down from top to bottom. I opened up Photoshop today for the first time. It will be a challenge. I think you did great. Love the soft colors.
@moonmtn Yes I saw the green line too. It is from photoshop I added color the same way on the whole section so really not sure how it appeared. The only think I can think of was it was a different tone of white the the rest so it came outt a slightly different shade? Maybe but a book on photoshop. I have one for my specific version of PS a d it's called "the missing manual". It's great. I'll read about one specific thing then go and do it. It's really helped. Good luck!
it is a great way to show this lovely tulip. On my phone, the background looked just perfect. Now I see it on the screen, I see the things being pointed out and also wonder if the right hand lacks just a hint of yellow. This is being really picky because you have done a great job and there is nothing in the background that immediately jumps out as unnatural to detract from your pretty and delicate flower.
