Stopped in one of the back lanes on the way home from class tonight and discovered this - a kind of perfect example of the ingenuity of Taiwanese people, adapting things to suit purpose.
The lighting in the lane was stunning, some huge halogen things that I'm sure would keep the local residents awake at night better than a jug of coffee!
Kinda liked the contradiction between the McDonalds sign and the catholic hospital on the other side of the street, too.
