The Cape Gooseberries are almost ripe. Also known as Inca berry, Aztec berry and lots of other names. They grow wild in our vegetable garden. The fruit are lovely when fully ripe and the calyx often form a 'skeleton' shape which is also fun to photograph - too early in the season for that though.
