This is in the South Island of NZ - I have taken my 89 year old mother to visit two of my sisters. Today, a few minutes after arriving, (while mum was resting), my fit younger sister suggested a walk up Mt Iron - a local hill of rock, around 250 metres higher than surrounding land…. She tells me it is a roche moutonee (a 'sheep back' shaped rock formed by glacial action). Anyway - whatever it was called - there were magnificent views from the top!
Beautiful shot Dianne😊
