Tea tree trunk

This tree trunk shows how wet the native bush covered Hunua Ranges get. Lots of the trees are covered with moss and lichen. The Hunua Ranges have 5 earth dams and provide 57% of Auckland City's water.
This is an awesome shot. The focus is wonderful. fav
