Baby plants

These small flax and manuka seedlings are part of what I do for a job. They were propagated by another colleague, and today, I went into one of the schools I work with. The students were taught how to pot them up - then they grow them on in the shade house. Next year, they will plant them beside the stream near their school. It is a continuing cycle, and a great way for students to learn about both plants and environmental care.
Sounds like a really worthwhile project, great job :-)

As others have mentioned, it sounds like you have such an interesting and enjoyable job, working with plants and young people— two things that have the potential to grow into something wonderful. Such a nice picture you created of these seedlings.

I was not in any danger yesterday when the tornado was seen ~ thanks for your concern. The one I saw was in IL, not the devastating ones that occurred in Nebraska yesterday.
