Mangere Bridge by dide

Mangere Bridge

After a few blustery days up north, I have returned home. Today, I met up with friends at Mangere Bridge Village - a cute wee township. We then went for a walk (in the rain and wind). This is the Mangere Bridge which carries part of the motorway - in the distance is the old bridge - now closed and a great recreation area for fishermen, cyclists and walkers - it joins to a lovely cycleway. I'll get you a sunny day picture one of these days!
Great shot, .. nice to see with tide and sunshine..

I didn't know it had a cycle way here! Thats good to know but generally we pass this bridge on the way to the Airport and never have time to stop! I always look for it, though!

Does look like a lovely spot - how neat to have the two bridges so close and that they found an excellent use for the older one.

@yaorenliu Great goal - one of my sisters walked the length of NZ - took her 3 years, as she did it in chunks between working and other things.

Well shot. Lovely view of the two Mangere bridges. It's nice that they have left the old bridge for recreational use.
