Sea and sky

Had a lovely day out today. We caught the train into Auckland, then ferried across (5 minutes!) to Devonport. We wandered around there - up Mt Victoria then to the top of North Head - followed by a lovely lunch. We figured we had earned our lunch after walking for ages! Weather was pretty average in patches and we were pleased to have a brolly with us. You can just see the Harbour Bridge to the right of the shot.
I'll put up some more photos over the next few days.

@happypat I assume so - actually I didn't know about it…. We possibly missed it because we were scampering all over the place to dodge the heavy rain squalls. Sounds to me like a good excuse to return sometime soon to check if it is still there.
