The West Coast

My sister and I went to Karioitahi Beach today for a walk. Carrie then went for a swim, while I wandered with my camera. It was a hot day at home, but a lovely breeze at the beach. Karioitahi Beach has black sand, and when dry, is far to hot to walk on and very unpleasant for little kids to play in. It is not anywhere near as bad when the sand is wet.
