Happy New Year!
This is one of the lovely views out on the Awhitu Peninsula - looking down onto Cochrane's Gap on the west coast. Yet another beautiful flowering pohutukawa - it's been amazing how prolific the trees are flowering this summer.
As has been said many times already, what a beautiful scene! The hills lead the eyes right into the bay and out onto the water. The tree's branches are lovely with their bursts of red blooms.
