Yesterday, @julzmaioro and I had a wander Albert Park in Auckland, on a glorious, sunny, almost winter's day. Note the 'tall as a crane' tree! It is nice to go to the city now and again, so hopefully we can get there for the Auckland festival of photography which starts tomorrow.
Really like this photo, like all the busy bits once you look at it more closely. It has been a couple of years since it was there for my graduation for my Masters degree. We assembled there before walking down the middle of Queen Street.
@deliad Yes it's a great place and the fine weather meant everyone was out to enjoy it. Must've been pretty special to assemble here before your grad walk!
Yes and no. I didn't know anyone else there and i had a very mixed experience doing my dissertation, most of it bad. Graduating was more 'thank God it is finished' rather than being proud of my achievement.
You've captured so much here, including another photography creating a portrait of his friend. At first glance it looked as the though the crane was resting itself on the very tall palm tree. Beautiful park on a beautiful day.
