Berta's chutney

Tonight's camera club 'set topic' is food - so here is an image that was composed in my friend Berta's kitchen. She is a wonderful cook with a bountiful garden and is always making pickles, jams, chutneys etc and often gives them away. I will enter this image in the competition and yesterday's apple one.

Great colours - since arriving in NZ my family and another 2 (one in Waiuku and one at Te Toro) have a "tompetition" we have to make tomato sauce from the same recipe then we have a blind taste test and the winner is named!!! all in good spirit over lunch and a glass or 2 of wine!
