I attended a lovely dinner last night, to celebrate a walking group that has been meeting 3-4 times a week for 25 years. This is the group my sister has recently joined. They are a lovely group of ladies, who not only walk together, but support each other through the ups and downs of life. I thought the cake said it all, as the talking/supporting is just as important as the walking!
I hasten to add that I haven't had the pleasure of joining this group, as I was just visiting the area and got to meet them at the dinner, where I was asked to take a few photos.
Quite true - the supporting and sharing is a treasure and this is amazing to hear you are all still talking to each other - 3 - 4 times a week for 25 years!!
@maggiemae I am not actually part of the group, as it is in a region I was visiting. I got to be the 'official' photographer - challenging light conditions, but never mind…..
