You know how sometimes you think you've taken a good image, then load it onto the computer and it looks rubbish…. Well, today, for a change, when I loaded it onto the computer, it still looked ok! This tui was feeding near the river by Lake Rotoiti in the Nelson Lakes Region. He had been sitting near the end of the flax bush, which bent over, and he was obscured by foreground foliage. Thankfully he moved and I was able to get most of him in the picture.
