More chopping

Kate, Jesse's girlfriend, competed very well today. Chopping in NZ is different to her usual Canadian competitions. The wood is vastly different, and she also had to cope with a saw that she hadn't used before. We are very proud of her and impressed with her determination. In the Jack and Jill sawing, she teamed up with Jesse and they were placed third, in a very closely contested race.
