The Puhoi Track

This morning we walked the Puhoi Track. It's a lovely walk - uphill at the start, a bit undulating in the middle and downhill at the end. It mostly follows a ridge top and goes through some lovely bush with nikau, ferns and taraire. It's about 5km long and took around 1hr 20minutes. It is part of the Te Araroa trail that links up tracks to be able to walk the length of NZ.
