Just as we were ready to leave Karapiro the other morning, there was a flurry of activity on the river. Turns out there was an 11km race for kayaks and rowing boats. These guys seemed very close - do they have a slipstream effect when kayaking?
Well timed shot... just consulted the rowers in my family and no slip streaming as a rule as they race in lanes not normally a free for all as it looks like here...
