Tapapakanga Regional Park by dide

Tapapakanga Regional Park

We are away overnight at a Regional park. Just before dark I went for a walk in the rain (in my trusty Redband gumboots). There was a hint of colour in the sky and lots of sheep running away from the crazy lady!
Wonderful colour in the sky and the newly shorn sheep are definitely all going in the same direction!

It looks very green and I love the colour of the sky.

I reread what you had written above because initially I saw 'redback gumboots' I had visions of redback spiders painted on your gumboots. I know, I know, time I went to bed, it has been a long day.

You're not a sheep whisperer then?

Nicely captured scene.

Bloomin' sheep rarely co-operate do they? They're almost glowing off-shears, very intriguing.

I think they were probably trying to keep warm; in my experience there's usually at least one poser in a flock who can spot a photographer a mile off, then stands daring you *not* to take their photo. :-D
I like how they stand out in their darker surroundings.
