We were at chopping today in Paeroa. The day started off extremely wet but then lifted to misty showers. It is a big day for Paeroa as it’s the Highland Games. The crowd numbers were down because of the weather. In the team chopping, Waiuku came out ahead of Taranaki and Rotorua, so that was exciting.
And look at the state of their ‘white’ pants!
Well done team Waiuku... chopping in a kilt could be a bit dangerous couldn't it... Shame about the weather... was a bit if a spoiler where I was as well....
