The coast

I had a wander around at the beach just before sunset. There was some nice lighting, but it was so windy that I had to be careful not to get the very fine magnetic black sand near the camera.

I didn't know the black sand was magnetic, no wonder that sand loves my camaraderie! Beautiful simple image.

I didn't realise that sand could be magnetic. `it must make using your camera tricky. Lovely shot

@happypat probably magnetic is the wrong term, but it has a very high iron content. This means the iron can be extracted with magnets. Still seems to get everywhere because it is so fine.
