Schools around the district are busy with their cross-country competitions. Although it's winter, most kids choose to run in bare feet, as otherwise they loose their shoes in the mud and it slows them down! Fortunately we have had a few days without rain, so they didn't get too muddy!
Although I like how your collage gives the context and shows the big picture, I have to say that the top one of just the legs is a particularly interesting capture!
Lovely collage giving a real flavour of the fun event Dianne, its an interesting concept trust they run in the fields not grazed by livestock and refrain from the traditional childhood sport of cowpat kicking, lol:)
@jyokota@pcoulson@ethelperry Thanks - to respect the privacy issue, I had to remove all faces, so concentrated on the legs! They were running on a farm, and luckily it hadn't been grazed for a while, so all cow pats were pretty solid!
Wonderful collage. Many foot doctors here recommend going barefoot, even running barefoot. These young runners show that “barefoot” can be a good thing.
I love this collage with all the action in it!
