I was working with some kids the other day who wanted to help cut down on the use of cling wrap. We went out at morning tea and took photos of some of the better lunch boxes. The ones in the collage have no plastic wrap. Instead, they have small compartments, reusable plastic containers, baking paper or beeswax wraps. We are hoping their article in the school newsletter will help make parents aware of the alternatives.
Great idea. My grandson uses one of those new packages. Finally the world has woken up to the damage plastic is causing throughout the world. Well done on your idea to bring people conscious of this.
Great way to educate the kids and the parents. It's becoming so important. I think about plastic constantly and try to cut it out wherever possible. It's difficult sometimes though.
A beautiful tempting lunch box! Lunches have come a long way in the last few years or so. No more dry sandwiches, a bag of crisps & a bit of cake, some selection these days! I bought some muslin bags when 8 was over your way in June, I use them when I buy fruit. Well done Dianne!
Awesome concept we are doing the same thing here in Australia.
Trying to re use what we can, recycle and save on land fill and the environment.
