More maize

We had the chance to see Josh at work today. The two top images show the stack size this afternoon and then how much bigger it was by this evening. That's one heck of a lot of winter feed for the milking cows! It gets rolled as the stack gets added to and then it will be covered with thick polythene to cook up nicely for a flavoursome lot of food for the stock.

@golftragic yep - whole plant gets chopped off about 4 inches from ground. Cob and all gets chopped up.
