Today I helped @julzmaioro with the 'meals on wheels' delivery. Julz has been a volunteer for this job once a month (and sometimes more often) for over 22 years. She took over from her parents who had been doing the deliveries for many years. Good people to have in a community! Today, we collected the meals from the local hospital and delivered them to 20 older folk around the town. This service happens 5 days per week, ensuring those in need get a hot meal and pudding and also have someone to check on them during the week. Go Julz - what a generous person you are!

What a fantastic service that is. We used to have it here and meals were made at our primary school. Sadly it was cut about 10 years ago. Everyone loses out!
Well done to both of you. David's Dad used to deliver Meals on Wheels to the 'old folk' The only thing was he was older than most of his customers, ha ha.
Brilliant service only possible thanks to all those wonderful volunteers like Julia@julzmaioro, lovely collage Dianne telling the story, my mother was blind and after my father died she enjoyed the benifits of the service in the UK:)
Oh you are a saviour, you & your fellow deliverers...how lovely to have a hot ready made meal delivered to your table plus for some the most important thing someone to talk to. @julzmaioro
