We are right on the beach at Port Tarakohe (east of Takaka). There is a nice calm area inside the breakwater and also a wharf where the boats are busy bringing in the mussels from the mussel farms out in the bay. As evening came, the wind suddenly dropped and everything was bathed in a lovely light.
