Jesse's Day Two in the Coast to Coast saw him cycle 55 km, kayak 70 km and then cycle a further 70 km. By this time he had made the 243 km from the west coast to the east coast of the South Island. Today he was first across the line, but the combined time still had him in second place overall. He has done so well and we are in awe of him. He is a dedicated and determined sportsman. His support crew (Chad and Rebecca) did an awesome job getting all the gear to the right place for him. He is in one of the images wearing a 'gold medal' that his workmates made for him, and they were all there at the finish to congratulate him. What a huge couple of days for him to complete that distance and come away with second place in the Open section. This event is huge and there are very few chances to take images of the competitors as they are racing.
