Following on from yesterday's photo, this one shows the bigger picture. You can see we are tucked in behind the very tall maize to be out of the cool evening wind. The farmland is not usually this green at the end of summer, but it has been a very wet season and the grass has continued to grow.
Looks like a big operation. Is your maize what we in North America would call corn? And is it for human consumption or would it be used more as animal feed?
@dide Thanks for your reply. I’m sure many of my questions sound very dumb but I don’t know much about farming in Canada and even less about farming elsewhere in the world and your photos always perk my interest and get me wondering.
