Trees of Significance

I have an interesting book about NZ trees of significance. It tells the history of the tree, the Māori uses and then explains in detail where to find it. While we were away on holiday, we managed to track some down and photograph them. There was one in the countryside we couldn’t find and another with the exact address that must’ve been removed. It was a great activity and there’s lots more yet to find!
What a fabulous collage of these beautiful trees, it must be a very interesting book.

@happypat @onewing yes - there are a mixture of exotic and native trees. Many of the exotics were brought by the very first settlers.
