Hey everybody! I'm a newbie to 365. The only real experience I have with photography is just the normal point-and-shoot, don't-care-about-composition kind. Since starting 365, I've begun to care more about composition and lighting and technical terms, but don't really know where to start, other that perusing this website (and the links herein.)
Anybody want to give some good tips? About 365, photography, whatever you like. Comments and constructive criticism on my photos welcome :)
Thanks, Hee! I'm only like 2% in, but I've shot multiple pics every day so far. Hopefully I can keep it up.
What are some really good books for novices? I remember seeing someone mention Scott someone but I lost where I wrote it down.
Scott Kelby...he have some nice reading material...google it up.
Anyway, i think any books on photography will be a good start.
(p/s : Youtube also a good place to start with)
Digital Photography For Dummies by David D. Busch breaks down some of the technical stuff so that it is fairly understandable. Also, like Hee mentioned Youtube has a bunch of great video tutorials. Welcome to 365!!
I'm a newb too! just started out. I've got a book which I love called "Within the Frame-The Journey of Photographic Vision" by David duChemin. He also does great ebooks which are pretty reasonable. Google his website
