Incredible.. I'd love to do a tour to see these places.. Have you ever watched Cities Of The Underworld on History channel?? I think it would be pretty amazing to get the chance to take a few pictures in places like that..
@buggus@jjsooner@melissapike same here I'd love to go urban exploring, although it rather rique. Here's a link for some who does it in London, they derilict buildings as well as tube stations in London.
If you check this link too, he does a urban exploring but from up high, these skyscrapers in London during their build process. some absolute stunning views. this photographer used to scale the building, snap his pics and then BASE jump down, he died in 2009 doing what he loved. base jumping
wow. i really admire the courage that these guys have for going into places that could get them into serious trouble. and the shots they get are simply stunning.
Urban exploration is a ton of fun. Unfortunately I live in a place where there isn't a ton of places to do it (southern Wyoming), but I've had fun in some old factories, and even an abandoned missile base in NJ. The riskiness of it just adds to the thrill, but I always try to go with a buddy. Nothing like photographing decay and places devoid of humans walking around :)
i love urban exploration. it has been a hobby of mine for over a year and i'm guessing i will have quite a few photos in my 365 project on this topic. i actually visited an abandoned hospital today. it's always a great adventure to walk through the halls of a place that has so much history!
