Learning the science

January 21st, 2011
I must admit that I do not like reading manuals so I probably don't know much about how the whole photography thing actually works :) What I have done in teh past is to have an idea and then fumble through to get the results and learn on the fly.

I've come to realise that this will be a slow process, I have found a series of vids on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xnn5nzPvoIM which have good content that I have learned a lot from already.

So I thought I'd share it here. If you have any sites or vids that have found to be useful post here, as I found that for that 1 nugget on youtuve there are 10 others that don't have a clue or just send me to sleep.

Those are good, I have seen them before. They are from Adorama.com (a store in Manhattan). They have various other learning tools in their website so go check it out. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for posting! This should be helpful for those of us lacking instruction and technical ability (and those who don't like reading instructions :P).
