Cool article. I don't think there are really need be any reason for loving certain photographs, I think we should just enjoy them and interpret them as we wish. I am also a fan of the Hipstamatic type print, I don't know why! I guess it's just the vintage appeal for me.

Interesting article, and it makes a lot of sense. I guess subconsciously I understood this but never really thought about it on a conscious level. I've taken lots of shots I didn't love SOOC and made them more abstract through editing, and immediately I had a stronger positive reaction to the image.
