Hey Everyone! Would you be willing to check out my photos. What do you think for a new photographer. Sometimes I really get stuck for ideas.

I love it!! I can see you like close ups? I do too. Your photos are intresting and many of them POP if that makes sense. I know you said you are new to photography...but do you edit? what kind of camera do you have? your pictures seem very high quality :)

hi stacey--i'm pretty new to 365 too, but i just looked at your photos. i think they are great! as far as ideas, i personally am using this project as a photo-journal of my year. so most of my photos aren't particularly profound, but they are meaningful to me. and i think you'll find that you only have to look as far as the other 365ers for inspiration--it is everywhere here!

Brett- I love your idea of using this as a photo journal. I think thats the way that I want to go with it as well. I guess thats what photography is anyway, pictures of things that are meaningful to you.

Lauren - I have a Nikon D-40. I do no edit other than cropping. I don't have any photo editing software besides iPhoto which doesnt allow for much anyway.

Thanks for your comments!

Stacey, you can always try Picnik, which is free. It will let you do a lot of neat things to your photographs, but still be easy to use. It is an online program, so you upload to photograph, then process it. Good Luck.

P.S. I have a D40 as well.

My only advice is to take at least 10 shots of any one subject, using different angles, settings on your camera, etc. It helps you learn the camera and lets experiment.

Thanks! I have slowly been starting to see that sometimes it takes 10 or 20 shots just to get that one perfect photo...
