Welcoming any criticism/help

I had a go with shutter speed and running water, I only just got a camera for christmas, and don't know much about shutter speed etc so if anyone could give any comments that would help please do!

the longer you'll expose, the more water will fall and the more you'll get the picture of a solid tube of water. the faster your shutter speed will be, you'll be more likely to capture a single drop of water.

Shutter speed are in fraction of a second. Your camera will show 1" for 1 second and 8 for 1/8 of a second, 250 for 1/250 of a second and so on.

Of course, if your speed is long, more light goes into your camera which mean you have to close your aperture or lower your ISO and be sure the camera is on a pretty steady surface or on a tripod.

You can set your camera in speed priority mode( TV on most Canon DSLR and S on most Nikon DSLR) and experience it a bit.

@sebasnikonfreak thank you! I just used the setting on my camera (finepix s2980) for shutterspeed and it automatically does the aperture as i have no clue! Will have to do some research
