first i chopped the images in PS then imported to AE for the animation.
good ? bad ? suggestions??

It is pretty effective - agree with Roy about it being slower - at the moment it is the movement that catches the eye - it should the the main subject that you notice, and only then take in the fact that there is movement.

But clever stuff!
