Advice please

I took this photo on day out over the weekend. I love bluebells and whilst I like the idea for this photo I'm not sure I'm keen on how it turned out.
I wanted to capture the bluebells spreading out in the distance with a few flowers in focus at the front of the image but the foreground feels too cluttered and hard for the eye to focus.

What is your opinion? How would you change either how I took the photo or would you edit it differently? (I did very little to this other than slightly increase the saturation)

I wonder if the DOF is too shallow that the flowers in focus just seem to blend in with the flowers in the background rather than standing out. Maybe a larger aperture would help?

I might have tried a larger aperature to see if that cleared up the focusing problem. The flowers in focus here are directly in front of those out of focus creating a problem for my eyes. One thing I've tried a lot of is setting the camera on the ground and aiming up. It separates and isolates the one I want and gives a very unique perspective on the flower. Just my two cents....I'm surely not any kind of pro. :) Your bluebells are pretty, though.

How about changing the angle a little? The foreground seems to me to be blocking the spreading of flowers that you talked about spreading out into the distance.
