Listen I am no professional, and probably have no right to offer critique, but the only thing I can say, is you asked for it, hehe. Anyway, the only issue I have and try to avoid is the fact that the sky is blown out in your pics. Again, this is just to my liking, and the last time I checked, I really do not feel my pictures are any better, but I always am trying to take several different shots or trying to tone down the sky in post to give it a bit more detail, but thats just my two cents worth.

I am not a people photographer at all, so I can't really offer anything of value there.

I like your subject matter in all 4 photos. #1 photo: I like that you included the picture of the people on the bus as well as the people on the bus. This seems to tell a story. The sky is washed out. However, I like the sky washed out. I thought you did this to draw attention to the subject of your picture. I like the intense color. #2 photo: I really like how you captured the people. The light is good too. My eyes are distracted by the woman with the stroller in the background. Could you retouch the photo, so she is not there? I cannot tell you how to do this, as I am unable to do this yet. I find this shot very interesting. #3 and #4: I find both of these very pleasing. I like your perspective. Placing the paths/bodies of water where they curve, draws my eyes through the pictures. Nicely done. I don't like the sepia. It seems too intense to me. Perhaps B& W would be better. However, see what others say about the sepia. I have had a bad headache for 2 straight days and intense color really is negatively impacting how I view things. I do admire your shots. You take lots better shots of people and landscapes than I am. Keep up the good work.

Ok just a quick comment here:
I really love the last two but I think the sepia is too strong, maybe if you slightly over exposed/touched it up so that it is lighter, then it truely would be worth going on my wall. You have real potential :)

I suggest working on looking for the color. All these tend to be the same color. When it's bright out the sky will wash out so eliminate the sky unless you can get better contrast. This can be helped by changing where you are standing. Try different angles. If you are still getting similar colors then try using the color correction editing tools or see if your camera will let you make adjustment before you take the picture.

Keep in mind we do not know your intentions when you took these nor when you edited them and every one will have their own opinion. Just keep trying different things. :-)

I think the last two look a bit overexposed/washed out. I find if you put a photo up for critique everybody tells you something different because obviously everyone has a different opinion. I put one of my photos up for critique a while back and just ended up getting confused. I edited it a thousand times over and still wasn't entirely happy with it. Just keep trying and find out something that works for you =)

Thanks for all your comments as they are all really helpful to me. I am always open to trying new things and I hope this will lead to further improvements. I look forward to taking lots more pictures and sharing them with everyone on 365.

Thanks for all the critique.
