hi i absoulutly love my photo of a baby lobster, but is it really as good as i think it is?

The subject is fascinating. With something so small though, I would have gotten much closer. It is difficult to see his details. Maybe next time compose it on a shallow, white plate, and instead of looking down on it, get close and level.

I agree.... cool subject... maybe a bit closer with a macro setting????? also... I would have put it on a plate.... with some melted butter ;-)

Because your lobster is in the center of the image it's not by default the subject of your picture. My eye for instance was distracted by your watch! And also by the strange numbers in your cup.

I agree the watch was a distraction for me as well.
