I'd love to get some critiques on any of the portraits in my project (there are around 6 serious ones so far). I want to be a portrait photographer and I am getting paid for doing this so I want other people's opinions to make sure I am giving people the best for their money!

you have some good shots in there.
try tagging your pics "critique-me" - it helps people know you want the critique
also you need to get more involved on here- post your black and white pics under the julybw challenge topic in themes and competitions- do the browse and pick etc as it shows people your there.
start following other people and commenting on there work and it will come back to you.
i've had a look through aswell, you are off to a greast start, just be careful with your focus and composition as sometimes they are slightly off, if you want more comments aswell,it could be useful to follow some more people and reciprocate with the commenting, definitely worth tagging your pics for critique aswell as it is a good way to gain new followers
I agree with @sallycheese I looked at your pictures and they definitely are pretty good already. I also noticed that 7 people follow you and you follow on-one yet. comments on your pictures are important at least to me mine are, as you'll do get some good feed backs. you can go on the "popular page" or on what they call the "lates" to see some other 365ers photos. when you like some of them click on them and the picture will come up and you can make comments on their pictures and if you like to follow them there is where it says follow so you just cllck on that. you also get noticed when you participate in "hot topics" or "latest topics" its fun and very informative. so herewith Welcom to 365 and Good Luck!

I agree with others' comments: you have to be active here if you want some feedback. Start following other people, be interested in their work, comment if you feel you have something to say, and people may follow you back and be interested in your work too. There are great portrait photographers here, it's always interesting to see what they do.
@mjkthorpe Yes this was my first start at getting involved. I do as much as I can with the time I have, but I have other photo communities that I prefer so I devote most of my internet time to them :P
But the tagging is something I didn't know! Thanks :)
@bruni I only use this site to organize my 365 project, but my real gallery is on another site that I much prefer, so that is where my activity all is, plus many more photos.
