I've been around a while now and have my faithful few that help boost my ego.....but I feel at a standstill and need a kick. Please take a few looks and tell me what to improve on. I'm trying to start my own thing for a little cash so my focus right now is with portraits.
I looked at some of your portraits. They are nice, but the lighting is flat in many of them. Looks like straight-on flash. If you can get some light from the side it will improve those a lot I think. Either off-camera flash or bouncing the flash off a wall or reflector. Or better, using natural light from about a 45 degree angle, just not straight on.
Sorry, I realize now I only looked at your main album. Have looked at more portraits in the other album. They are really nice, nicely processed, good poses and so forth. I'd still like to see some of them with some light from the side. These look like glamour shots, where I guess front on lighting is done, so there's nothing wrong with it, in fact i really like most of them, but you might want to mix it up a bit, I think you'll get more depth to the images if you have that side lighting
Thanks!!
