Yup, and the empty Galaxy wrapper on top of the bin (from last night) is just making it worse! Now that I've got your attention (as well as having that off my chest!), let me begin.
This image happened more or less by mistake. It wasn't what I had planned as a shot in the first place, or as an end result. It final image is what became of a series of unplanned events and errors. I'm fairly happy with what was eventually produced, but am disappointed with myself for allowing it to happen rather than making it happen...if you know what I mean.
I'm always grateful for nice comments (like everyone else!) but I would quite like some constructive criticim every now and then. This is one of those particular photos that I'd like someone to critique...mainly because it's not my usual type of photo, but also without hearing other people's thoughts and suggestions, I'm just going to get stuck in a chocolateless rut, and my photography's going to suffer!.
@cookie123 Thanks - nothing too complex at all. I started off with the original image ( http://365project.org/lluniau/challenges/2011-08-15 which I very mildly edited, and sepia-ed), took it to Picnik and clicked on neon effect. Played around with the sliders in that effect alone, and added a frame. No real magic involved...
I already commented on this but I will again, I think this is very creative and an original idea. Its eye catching with the neon white wings , I liked the photo.
i like this, the only thing i would do differently is straighten it up a little as the figure looks to be falling to the left a bit.
i've been playing around with editing a little,i very rarely get anything i'm really pleased with but every so often i find i've taken a pretty run of the mill picture and managed to make it into something worth sharing
