Critiques please?

I am 13 years old and am only just getting into photography. The other day, I took this picture of my cat and well, I was quite proud of it but any form of constructive criticism would be nice! :)

your cat is laid back , arms up ? she/he looks flat, can't see chin
I have lots of cat photos and you could look at tagged cat photos for some ideas. I just keep trying , keep posting and people will comment.

@missvicki Thank you for the reply! I thought I should take a photo with him lying flat back like that because I thought it was an odd thing :P But I do see how it doesn't properly show off my cat's features. I have added some more if you are willing to comment on them :)

The perspective is great. But, I think this would be better if it was further away from your kitties face. It took a few seconds before I even realized your cats arms were laid back behind its head. I think it would be a really funny picture if you could see the arms without having to concentrate so much on what the photo is actually showing. That's just my opinion though.

@eliserose781 Yeah I do see what you mean; at the time I had very limited space so I had to be quite close. But imagining what you just described with my cat made me laugh I think I will have to try this shot again because it would be funny :) Thanks for the comments :)

Agreed with Elise. The third photo works the most for me because you can see its arms best. Great perspective.

@axel Thank you yeah I like the third one too :) In a case like the third photot should I focus on the face or the paw? :)

I think the third one, too, but taken a fraction more to the right so more looking along the leg and focus on the face as you have; if you focused on the paw or the leg you'd lose the clarity of the whiskers.

That really is one very laid back cat!

@daldry Hahaha yeah he's laid back :P And oooh thank you I was wondering what would happen if I changed the focus :)
