you could tag your pictures critique-me, people will know you're looking for critics. If you follow people and comment on their pictures, they'll comment back.
@parisouailleurs I tagged my photos critique-me for a couple of months and didn't get one comment that was constructive criticism. I thought it would work, per the discussions, but gave up on it. It's good advise, but people don't really look up that tag. Just thought I'd mention it to keep others from the same frustration.
Hi, Marissa. I viewed some of your images. You have a good eye for things, but some of your images are very cliche.
I always recommend that when shooting, wait for the shot, don't rush into it. I am not a fan of staged shots personally. Dig deep, and think outside the box. Don't shoot what everyone else shoots. Make it personal. Keep up the good work. Perseverance is the greatest teacher.
