Moving photos between albums

Seriously considering getting an Ace membership, love the idea of the extra albums & supporting the site.

If I was to move photos from my 365 album (from before 1 Jan) to another album, cos i like to keep things tidy, would I lose all my comments?

I'm pretty sure you would...only because I can't think how to do it other than to take them down and then upload them to the other album.

Yes you are. I posted a couple of shots in December 2010, then purchased and ACE later and moved those four shots into my "extras" album, so that I'd have a true 365 project starting on Jan. 1.

You don't lose the comments either.

You can just click the EDIT button for the individual photo and then select the album and date you want to post it to. Your comments will remain. No need to re-upload.

@ang_2012 Hi Angela, I swapped the two photos I took today around into different albums and the comments remained intact. Like Rhonda said, it's just a question of changing the album in the drop down option, very easy.

One word of caution though - if you choose a date in an album that already has a photo there, then moving a photo to that spot will overwrite the one already there and you will loose that photo and comments. Hope that makes sense. I have made this mistake when trying to swap photos between albums.
